Kieran speaks about the Cork actor Cillian Murphy whom he went to primary school with in St Anthonys. Says it is nice to see him doing well. Hasn’t met in a long time he says. Speaks about plays he’s seen him in such as Ballyturk in the Opera House and Brief Is The Thing With Feathers in Town Hall Theatre Galway (both plays by Enda Walsh). Says he was a nice guy and one of the class clowns in primary school. Speaks about being in his family home in Blackrock on his birthday as children. Speaks of Cillians love of music. Speaks of how he got his acting break in Enda Walsh’s Disco Pigs. Speaks about Cillian Murphys band the Sons Of Mr Green Genes which included CM’s brother Padraig Murphy. Kierans band at the time Pure New Wool. How they shared the bill with Sons Of Mr Green Genes at a concert in Sacred Heart secondary school South Douglas Road. Speaks more about Kierans band. How they are back in recent months recording. Re-recording old songs.
